Todd Brown of Mulberry, AR killed his 1st bird in the Missouri Youth Hunt in Windsor, Mo in early April. The bird weighed 24 lbs. It came across the open field to a full strut decoy. Great hunt, Todd!

Ryan Parker killed this 21lb bird in Logan County, AR in the youth hunt while hunting with his step-father, Brad Snow. The bird had a 10.5 inch beard and didn't have ANY spurs! Brad says he's seen this only one other time. Congrats, Ryan.

Ryley McCuiston killed his first turkey in Cleburne County in the Arkansas Youth Hunt. He was in the blind with his grandfather, Dennis Campell, and his father, ABBA member Justin McCuiston. Ryely has been trying for four years to kill a turkey and he was crutches after a bad sprained ankle! Congrats, Ryley!
Ol' Drake McMahan harvested this one in the Ozarks opening morning for the 2013 youth hunt. The mature tom had a 9.5 inch beard and 1 inch spurs. He was hunting with his dad, Aaron. Congrats, guys.

What a great picture? Landon West killed his 1st turkey on April 21st in Garland County, AR. He did some calling on his own and made a fine shot from a 20 gauge at about 20-steps! Gary West said, "Don't know who is proudest , him, his dad or his Papaw!"

ABBA member, Dr. Don Barnett killed this hard earned gobbler on April 24th in Saline County. The bird had an 11" beard and 1 1/4" spurs. Might not know this, but Don holds the Arkansas Archery bear record with a BIG traditional killed bear from 2007.
ABBA member, Robbie Crocker, strikes again in Pike County on April 25th with his second AR gobbler of the year. He killed this bird at 11:57 a.m. Came in with another mature bird. Robbie's weighed 17lbs and had a 10" beard. Killing one at noon, that's some good huntin'.
Blake McCord traveled to SE Kansas and killed two good gobblers with his bow in April. Along with him was his good friend, Erin Rushing (above) - this is the first. Congrats, Blake.

Jennifer Wortman of Conway, AR harvested her first gobbler in Union county on April 20, 2013 at 6:35AM. It was only 8 feet away when she shot! He weighed 18lbs, had a 12 1/4 inch beard, and 7/8 inch spurs. She was super excited as she shared this experience with her husband JT Wortman. Congrats!
